Zachary Quinto admits he is ‘a gay man’

London: Zachary Quinto has now joined the league of homosexual celebrities after openly admitting that he is gay.

The Star Trek star has revealed the truth of his sexuality, like celebrities including Ricky Martin, Lance Bass and Ellen DeGeneres. “As a gay man, it made me feel like there’s still so much work to be done, and there’s still so many things that need to be looked at and addressed,” the Daily Mail quoted Quinto as telling New York Magazine. Despite his decision to remain tight-lipped about his sexuality until now, he has openly spoken out against bullying, even making a video for the ‘It Gets Better’ campaign to support victimised gay and lesbian teens. The actor also expressed his disappointment towards the way homosexuals are bullied. ‘And again, as a gay man I look at that and say there’s a hopelessness that surrounds it, but as a human being I look at it and say Why?” Where’s this disparity coming from, and why can’t we as a culture and society dig deeper to examine that? We’re terrified of facing ourselves,’ he added. ANI
