Mumbai, June 28: Mithun Chakravarty, the dancing sensation of the 80s, while paying tribute to pop icon Michael Jackson, termed the singer as a rare entertainer who connected with the audiences through his live performance."Jackson connected himself well with audiences with his mesmerising performances. Such persons never die," Mithun told a local Marathi channel.
"I respect and love two persons the most- Michael Jackson and boxing legend Mohammed Ali Kile. That`s why I named my son Mimo after these two great personalities - Mi of Michael and Mo of Mohammed Ali. Mimo, also a good dancer, was launched by Mithun in `Jimmy` which did not do well at the Box Office. On Mithun`s dancing steps being compared to that of Jackson, the actor said, "It is a compliment, but I am not a patch of Jackson." "I never happened to meet him or got an opportunity to speak to him (Jackson), but I love and respect him a lot," the `Disco Dancer` star said. Bureau Report
