Mumbai: Kareena Kapoor, as we all know is a fine talent. She gets into the skin of the character she portrays on-screen and leaves no stone unturned in putting her best foot forward.
But this attitude of hers to give her character that extra realistic look in Puneet Malhotra’s next proved her costly.
The actress ended up injuring herself on the sets of ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’, which also stars Imran Khan.
“Kareena was supposed to walk on a rope without being strapped. As is the norm with production, she was asked whether she needed a stunt person to perform the rope-walking for her. But she insisted on doing it on her own so she went ahead with the shot,” a tabloid quoted a unit member as saying.
“As she was carefully treading to maintain balance, her feet got scratched by the thick jute. The bruise seemed like a burn scar. On top of that, the hot weather wasn’t helping her case. But she made sure the scene was completed without much delay,” added the source.
Here’s wishing Kareena Kapoor speedy recovery and we wish to see her getting back to work with her ‘Ekk Main Aur Ek Tu’ co-star Imran Khan soon.
