Peter Andre wants his children to complete studies

London: Singer Peter Andre is apprehensive of his children achieving fame at a young age and wants them to pursue a showbiz career only when they complete their studies. The `Behind Closed Doors` star has five-year-old son Junior and daughter Princess Tiaamii, two, with ex-wife Katie Price. He is also raising Price`s eight-year-old son Harvey, reported Contactmusic.

"If the kids want to follow my career path, I`d make sure they finish school first. I was offered a record contract at 16, but my dad made me stay on at school. That was the best thing he could have done," he said. The 37-year-old singer, who is currently single, admits that he has not ruled out of having more children in future. "I`m more than happy with three kids but if I meet someone special, who`s to say I won`t want any more in the future. I never thought I`d meet somebody who already had a child and I did. You can never tell what`s around the corner. Put it this way - dating a yummy mummy isn`t off the cards," the singer said. Andre, who split from Price in May 2009, was crowned `Bounty`s Celebrity Dad of the Year`. He was elated with the accolade he had received. "It`s awesome. It put the last year into perspective. I`ll always put my kids first," said the star. PTI
