Rihanna, Chris Brown want to be friends

Estranged lovers Rihanna and Chris Brown are looking to have a court-imposed protection order, which bans them from contacting each other, lifted because they want to work on their friendship.

London, June 28: Estranged lovers Rihanna and Chris Brown are looking to have a court-imposed protection order, which bans them from contacting each other, lifted because they want to work on their friendship.A Los Angeles Supreme Court judge sentenced Brown to community service and probation after he pleaded guilty to assaulting the "Umbrella" hitmaker following a dispute in February this year that left singer Rihanna battered and bruised, reports feamlefirst.co.uk
The "Kiss Kiss" singer was also told he must stay at least 50 yards away from Rihanna and keep a distance of 10 yards from her if they attend the same event.
But the stars are reportedly keen to have the ban removed because they consider it "unnecessary" and have already broken the order by patching things up over the phone. "After (the court proceeding) Rihanna and Chris talked on the phone for almost an hour and really worked at becoming friends. They`re solid now," said a source. "The stars are not interested in reviving their romance. That`s 100 percent done. They aren`t looking to hook backup again. They`re both moving on and going their separate ways," the source added.
