TomKat on verge of split?

Melbourne, June 10: If rumors are to be believed, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes` marriage is on the rocks.According to a new report from a British magazine, the star couple of Hollywood, who are parents to daughter Suri, 3, have apparently come to blows over a number of issues, reports The Daily Telegraph.

"The situation has gone from being a difficult relationship, fraught with problems that seemed solvable, to a very unhappy situation that could well end in a split," a source told Grazia magazine. "No one would be surprised if Katie was considering her options in a worst case scenario. "Katie`s father (Martin Holmes, a divorce attorney) would be able to advise her on the names of the top California-based divorce lawyers should she need them," the source added. The couple`s pals, however, have dismissed the divorce rumors, insisting Katie, 30, would always fight to save the marriage. "It has often been claimed that Katie is controlled by Tom and that`s not surprising given how much they adhere to the strict rules of Scientology," said the pal. "But Katie knows Tom is a good husband and, more importantly, a great father and he loves nothing more than to shower her and Suri with gifts and attention," the pal added. ANI
