Kapoor clan unites against Ranbir’s ex-girlfriend Deepika

Mumbai: As if Ranbir Kapoor leaving Deepika heartbroken wasn’t enough, the Kapoor clan has now united to jilt the swishy lady altogether. The stunning lass, who had been facing the ire of Ranbir’s parents throughout their short-lived affair, is now facing the wrath from other members of the Kapoor family too. And the latest member to show his disapproval of Dips is none other than Rishi’s elder brother Randhir Kapoor. Story goes that Randhir Kapoor had thrown a lavish party for the cast of Sajid Khan’s ‘Houseful’. While all the cast members were invited, Deepika was the only leading lady from the film who was kept at bay. And even though Randhir maintained that all the three ladies from the film namely Lara Dutta, Jiah Khan and Deepika Padukone, were not invited, sources confirm that Deepika was the sole actress who didn’t receive an invite. Talking to reporters, Randhir said,” I have invited only a few friends. The girls are not in Mumbai. The dinner has nothing to do with ‘Houseful’. Can’t I have a few friends at my place once in a while?” Nevertheless, Jiah surprised all when she stated that she was on the guest list. The stunner said, “Yeah, I know about the party. I am trying to go. But it is also my uncle’s birthday tonight and will try to go to both the places. It would be wonderful to see all of them again and Dabooji (as Randhir is fondly called) is so wonderful”.
