London: Pop singer Justin Timberlake seems to be enjoying the best of both worlds as the pop star has reportedly convinced ex-girlfriend Jessica Biel to ‘remain friends’ while he dates other girls. The `Sexy Back` singer, who is rumoured to have split from the actress in September after two-and-a-half years together, has decided he still wants Biel involved in his life and makes sure they meet regularly, Contactmusic reported.
"Justin was very clear with Jessica that he didn`t want to be in a serious relationship with her anymore where he wasn`t able to date other people," a source close to Timberlake said.
"Jessica took the news very hard, but once she calmed down and they started talking again, he convinced her to stay friends who hook up, without all the pressure of a
relationship," the source added.
It was reported the couple split because the 28-year-old singer was not ready to make a commitment and settle down.
"Justin gets the best of both worlds. He doesn`t have to lose Jess as a lover or a friend, but he`s free to explore other relationships," the source said.
