Sandip Soparrkar story is lie of the year: Britney Spears

Britney Spears has compiled a list of the most outlandish stories written about her during the last year!

Los Angeles: Britney Spears has compiled a list of the most outlandish stories written about her during the last year and the award for the "biggest lie" went to the report linking her to Indian choreographer Sandip Soparrkar.
The `Womanizer` hitmaker, who has been named the most googled celebrity of the last decade, called out the 75 most untrue stories written about her over the last 12 months, reported a magazine online. "There were more than 13,000 stories written about Britney in 2009," the blog, posted by Spears` manager, Adam Leber, reads. "We ranked the ones we believe were the most ridiculous. Either because they were factually inaccurate, because they reported the patently absurd, or because we believe they are simply offensive to the sensibilities." " No 1 is a UK tabloid report that the singer was dating Indian choreographer Sandip Soparrkar, and introduced the Bollywood dance star to her parents over an intimate New Year`s Eve dinner party," said the blog. The report had caused a furore in India with Soparrkar`s girlfriend, model Jesse Randhawa warning Spears to keep away from her man in an interview. Also on the list were rumours that the singer`s dad, Jamie, were looking to set up Spears with actors including Chace Crawford, Jesse Metcalfe and swimmer Michael Phelps. Spears` kids, Sean, 4, and Jayden, 3, also made the rumour mill, being called out in the top 20 after allegedly causing damage to a USD 2,000-a-night suite. PTI
