Jordan’s misery leaves her sober even after drinks

London: Former model Katie Price, a.k.a. Jordan, is said to be so miserable these days that even after downing champagne, she remains sober. Jordan, 31, who looked glum and lonely at a showbiz bash in London despite having her cage-fighter lover Alex Reid, 34, at her side, kept her distance, and looked irritated and fed up with his company.

“I have never felt so sober in all my life,” the Daily Star quoted her as saying. Meanwhile, her ex-hubby Aussie singer Peter Andre, 36, was having the time of his life, as he helped host the MOBO in Glasgow. But, in London, Jordan could not even raise a smile outside Blakes Hotel, where her best pal Gary Cockerill was celebrating his 40th birthday. “Kate was desperate to let her hair down and have a good night at Gary’s birthday after months of hell,” a close friend of hers said. “But I think everything just got to her especially as Peter was doing the one thing that she had always dreamed of, hosting at the MOBOs. “Kate’s big ambition has just been to get on the guest list for the MOBOs let alone actually have a role there. “She couldn’t believe that Peter had been asked to host backstage and was understandably jealous. “She always felt like she was the star in their relationship and now the tables have been turned,” the friend added.
