Laura Dern unveils her Walk Of Fame star

Los Angeles: In her first appearance since her divorce announcement last month, `Jurassic Park` star Laura Dern seemed to have put the heartbreak behind her as she unveiled her star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

Dern was reportedly left blindsided when husband Ben Harper`s petitioned for divorce, but she was beaming as she received the honour, reported Daily Mail online. In place of her estranged husband, the actress` parents Bruce Dern and Diane Ladd, were by her side. This is the first time that an acting family has been honoured at the same time, with all three of the Derns receiving their stars together. The family has made Hollywood history before, when Laura and Diane received Oscar nominations in 1992 for their roles in Rambling Rose. It was the first time a mother and daughter received Oscar acclaim together. The 43-year-old`s smile did not give any indication of her heartbreak as she stepped up to the podium and posed for photographs. Looking elegant in a black and beige shift dress and velvet embellished heels, Dern hugged her parents. Also attending the ceremony were actors Mark Ruffalo, Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen and film maker David Lynch. PTI
