`Man boob` reduction ops on the rise in UK

Britain has witnessed an 80 percent rise in breast reduction ops on men.

London: Britain has witnessed an 80 percent rise in breast reduction operations carried out on men.
British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons’ (BAAPS) annual audit found its members carried out 581 male breast reductions last year, up from 323 in 2008. "This year we have recorded a dramatic rise in a number of male surgical procedures, probably due to heightened media attention, which has allowed men to realise the positive outcomes that can be achieved," the Telegraph quoted Rajiv Grover, BAAPS secretary, as saying. Out of the total cosmetic procedures undertaken by BAAPS members 10 of it was on men. And `Moob` jobs represented about one-in-six of those operations. The operation costs 2,000, pounds and takes about an hour and a half. It involves the removal of as much as a litre of fat. ANI
