Mumbai: He might be just one film old, but this young man has conveniently managed to achieve stardom and create a niche for himself more prominently than many others in B-town.
Ranveer Singh has been in news for both the right and wrong reasons. Everyone in the industry went ga-ga over him after seeing his scintillating performance in Yash Raj’s `Band Baaja Baraat` opposite `2 films old` Anushka Sharma.
His association with his co-star went beyond the silver screen and the duo made headlines for its inhibition less PDA at parties. However, the duo categorically denied having an affair despite their “closeness” both literally and otherwise!
And now, the BBB sensation has something new to say. In a candid confession to Simi Garewal on her talk show `Simi selects India’s Most Desirable`, Ranveer said that he does not feel worthy of Anushka.
"Look at her. She’s beautiful. She’s a stunner. She is this most amazing combination of beauty and talent and intelligence and wit. I am awestruck by her! I do get attracted to her at times. It’s hard. I am not good enough to be Anushka Sharma’s boyfriend,” said the lanky newcomer.
When Anushka had made an appearance on the show, even she had refrained from accepting any relationship with Ranveer. Evidently, she wasn’t comfortable discussing him in public.
Ranveer said, “She’s so beautiful; I am not that good looking. She’s so talented; I am not so talented. Se deserves someone better than me and that’s why I would not put her through me. I am not good for Anushka.”
Well…we really wonder if this pair of young actors will ever admit its true feelings for each other!
