London: British glamour girl Jordan a.k.a Katie Price is reportedly planning to make a spiritual visit to India in a bid to ‘cleanse her soul’.
The 31-year-old star, who has been in the news over her wild, raunchy antics since her split from former husband Peter Andre last year, was said to be eyeing a dip in the sacred Ganges to be re-born as a better person.
“Katie was really taken aback by all the booing she received at the television awards last week. She has been thinking for a while about how she can ‘cleanse her soul’ and win back some of her lost popularity,” a news daily quoted a source as saying.
The source added: “Katie met a couple of spiritual advisers – an older man in his 50s and a woman in her 40s. They began to give Katie advice about finding her true self and putting the problems and behaviour associated with being Jordan behind her.
“She’s even talking about visiting the great holy sites of the East, including the temples of India and China.
“And she also fancies a bathe in the Hindu holy river the Ganges. She is looking at spiritualism as a chance to cast the impurities out of her life and find inner peace.”
