David plays peacemaker between Salman and Govinda

Mumbai: Putting an end to the widely rumored animosity between Salman Khan and Govinda, Bollywood’s ‘Director No. 1’, David Dhawan plans to revive their relationship in his own unique way. According to reports, David had been fondling with the idea of making a sequel of ‘Partner’, but sadly the project has not been able to see the light of day, owing to famous Salman-Govinda tiff. So to resolve the matter for good, David plans to host a party to celebrate the Salman Khan and Govinda’s friendship. Speaking to a daily, David said, “And why just the Salman-Govinda friendship? It will be to celebrate the Salman-Govinda-David friendship. I get very disturbed when I hear about their so-called rift. Arrey yaar, both are far above such bickering. Look at Govinda`s track-record. He has been at the top for decades. As for Salman, with ‘Dabangg’ he has proved he is beyond all competition.” Getting emotional, David further added, “I hate to see people talking about two of my closest friends in this negative way. So yes, a party celebrating Salman and Govinda`s friendship and my friendship with them seems a good idea.”
