Salman Khan to shake a leg at IIFA for a cause

Salman Khan is all set to make his presence felt at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards, which is going to be held in Colombo.

Mumbai: Salman Khan is all set to make his presence felt at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards, which is going to be held in Colombo (Sri Lanka) this year in the first week of June.
The IIFA awards, which is alternatively hailed as the most prestigious award function in the Bollywood film fraternity as well as the Bachchan family show, will see a galaxy of superstars this year. Salman’s performance will prove to be a major attraction at the award function. Talking about the award function, Salman said, "I will perform at IIFA. Why else would I go there? I `m not too crazy about this award – although Andre Timmins (Director, Wizcraft) is my friend. I`m there with IIFA and Being Human." According to a source, “Salman Khan and his Being Human Foundation will also support a cause.” The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards, are presented annually by the International Indian Film Academy to honour the professionals in artistic and technical side in Bollywood. Started in 2000, the ceremony is held in different countries around the world every year.
