Why Kristen Stewart loves spending time in Britain

Washington: ‘Twilight’ star Kristen Stewart has revealed that she enjoys spending time in the UK and hitting pubs there because she can go out in public without being bothered.

The American actress - who is dating her co-star Robert Pattinson - is a particular fan of eating roast dinners accompanied with a pint of Guinness in a traditional bar. “In Los Angeles you have to be fairly selective about where you go, but I’m so fine here. It’s similar to New York, in that people are doing their own thing and they feel like they’re probably cooler than you, so I tend to be able to get around very easily,” Contactmusic quoted her as telling Glamour magazine. “We have bars, clubs and restaurants in the US, but here you go to the pub for the afternoon and you have lunch. In an American publication that would seem like, ‘She’s hitting the bars in London!’ but it’s just a different mentality here. “I’m a huge Guinness fan and I’ve had some really good roast dinners. I prefer old-man pubs to Gastropubs, definitely,” Stewart stated. ANI
