A German man who allegedly tried to extort 100,000 dollars from Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber has been indicted, prosecutors have revealed.

Melbourne: A German man who allegedly tried to extort 100,000 dollars from Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber has been indicted, prosecutors have revealed.Edis Kayalar attempted to blackmail the couple over a photograph showing the supermodel`s daughter Kaia gagged and bound.
The 26-year-old has been charged with one count of extortion and two counts of attempted extortion. "In the photo, the seven-year-old daughter is seen sitting gagged with her hands and feet bound to a chair," a website quoted the prosecutor’s office in Stuttgart as saying in a statement. Kaia told her parents that the snap was taken as part of a "cops and robbers" game by her nanny, a friend of Kayalar who later took its possession. Kayalar, a professional model according to entertainment site TMZ.com and known to cops for drug-related offenses, later turned himself in his native country after the couple involved the FBI. ANI
