Mumbai: Frieda Pinto and her toyboy lover Dev Patel are yet to take their relationship to another level but the two can’t help praising each other in public, it seems. Going gaga over his ladylove, Dev in an interview to a renowned magazine said, “She’s very inspiring to me and just great support. She’s a great friend and amazing”. Nevertheless the actor firmly stated that marriage will have to wait for now. Speaking about the constant media scrutiny over his love life, the actor said, “once my mother believed that I had got engaged to Freida. I was like, Mum, ‘I didn’t, trust me,’ Nothing’s happened. Everything is absolutely fine. I’m just shooting a film”. However, the actor does feel that the rumours of him dating Freida picked pace when his mother became involved. “My mum will go to work and explain to everyone why they have written that her son is going to get engaged, and how it’s all not true,” said the actor. As of now the actor is eagerly awaiting the release of his next film, ‘The Last Airbender’ that is set to be released in India on 9th July.
