New Delhi: The new Murthy has the charisma that turns heads wherever he goes, but he is more in news because of the revenue his start-up has hit in just 4 years in the sillicon valley.

As per a report in the Economic Times, Arun Murthy from Jayanagar in Bengaluru is someone whose success is quite similar to that of Infosys founder Narayana Murthy.

The 35-year old Murthy's climbing-up-the-ladder is very much same that senior Murthy had 30 years ago, albeit there is no relationship that both share, the ET report said.

Arun Murthy, one of the founders of startups – Hortonworks was ranked 20 in Fortune Magazine's Big Data All Stars - "20 extraordinary people who we think are the best at connecting the dots, digging deep, and discovering the information that will transform the way businesses operate" in 2014.

Hortonworks, founded in 2011, has become the “fastest ever software venture to touch $100 million in revenue - in just 4 years. Salesforce did it in 5, Palo Alto Networks and Workday in 6, Informatica in 7 and Splunk in 8,”  ET quoting a Barclays Research said.
