RJD, YC slam Bihar admin on postponed SRK visit

Patna: Opposition RJD and Bihar Youth Congress today slammed the state administration for allegedly preventing Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan from coming here to promote his forthcoming film `Don 2 - The King Is Back`.
The charge has been denied by the Deputy Chief Minister S K Modi. "Tight security arrangements were in place and administration was ready to receive SRK... it is because of bad weather and poor visibility," Modi said adding SKR`s visit here was a matter of pride for people of the state. "It shows the inefficiency of the administration which prevented the superstar from coming here," state RJD President Ramchandra Purve said. Bihar Youth Congress President Lalan Kumar alleged that the incident had exposed the state government`s claim forbetter security and law and order in the state. Shah Rukh`s visit to the state for promotion of the film was postponed yesterday triggering controversy. PTI
