Mumbai: Stories of fans` eccentricity for their loved stars are plenty, but here’s an example which transcends the barrier of fanaticism.
A Jaipur businesswoman called Rozlyn Khan has spent Rs 10 lakh on a song dedicated exclusively to the Bachchans!
The woman claims to be an all-time fan of the “so-called” first family of Bollywood and states that Abhi-Ash is her favorite couple. So thrilled is she about the ‘yet-to-be-born’ Bachchan that she went out of her way to gift the couple a Rs 10 lakh worth a song!
The song, called ‘Ishq ka garam masala’ has been sung by Mamta Sharma of the ‘Munni Badnaam Hui` fame.
Reinstating, Rozlyn said, “I don’t want anything in return as I’m not going to release it commercially. It’s my way of showing love for the Bachchans.”
“Abhishek and Aishwarya are my favourite Bollywood couple. I am very excited that there is good news in the Bachchan family and baby Bachchan is expected. So, I’ve dedicated this song to them,” she said.
“I had no idea it was meant for the Bachchans, but I am glad that my song is dedicated to Bollywood’s first family,” said singer Sharma.
Interestingly, Rozlyn would feature in the video and said she chose Mamta as the singer because she wanted it to have “the flavour of Uttar Pradesh — as the Bachchans are from UP”.
Though Ash remained unavailable for a comment, Khan’s sure that the Bachchans will be thrilled.
“I’m confident that they will accept my song as a gift from me for their soon-to-be-born baby. The Bachchans have entertained us for so many years. This is my way of thanking them”, said Rozlyn.
