Janet Jackson shed real tears in film

London: Janet Jackson was shooting for her latest film when her brother, `King of Pop` Michael Jackson died and as a result she shed a lot of real tears during the emotional scenes in the drama `Why Did I Get Married Too?`.

Jackson died last year in June of a propofol overdose and his 44-year-old singer-actress sister had a hard time while shooting, reported Contactmusic. "It was very tough at times. It was very, very difficult. I just tried to do my best. It was very therapeutic and very draining in other ways. You know, it never left my mind what was going on," she said. Janet was in continuous touch with her family during the sad phase and she decided to put her best into the film to deal with the pain. "I stayed away from watching any television whatsoever, but I stayed in touch with my family on a daily basis. It was difficult at times but it helped me to heal. The tears in the film, those were real tears," she said. PTI
