A rumour: Tran on reconciliation with Chris Brown

Los Angeles: Model Karrueche Tran has responded to her reconciliation rumours with singer Chris Brown by saying "a rumour is simply just that... a rumour".

Tran took to micro-blogging website Twitter on Friday to respond to circulating rumours that she's back together with Brown, reports aceshowbiz.com. 

The model wrote: "A rumor is simply just that.. a rumor. (sic)"

Tran's post came shortly after Brown appeared to share a birthday message which alluded to her. 

He wrote: "Thx for making my bday a special.. All my friends family etc.. #taurus season.. I have three special ladies celebrating this month. Mother's Day for momma. May 17th miss you know who. And May 27 is my baby #Royalty. Be humble and learn that it doesn't take effort to love!" 

May 17 is Tran's birthday. The posting has since been deleted. 

Rumours of their reconciliation sparked last week after Tran posted on Instagram a photograph of her dogs being petted by somebody's hand which is believed to be Brown's. She captioned the it: "Hi baby." 

However, it was Tran's own hand in the photo. In a photograph she posted on Wednesday, her left hand was seen sporting the same tattoo and rings just like in the dog picture.
