Rihanna dines with soccer star Karim Benzema in Santa Monica

Los Angeles: Pop star Rihanna and soccer player Karim Benzema were spotted dining together in Santa Monica, California.

The "Four Five Seconds" singer grabbed dinner with the Real Madrid player and friends at an Italian restaurant where Rihanna is a frequent patron, reported People Magazine.

Rihanna and Benzema, both 27, travelled separately to the popular restaurant. The dinner date was the second time this week the pair was spotted together.

Last week, Rihanna and Benzema were caught getting cozy at a performance. According to a source, Rihanna and Benzema were "drinking and cuddling during the show" in a booth near the back of the venue.

The friends interacted on social media during the 2014 World Cup when the singer tweeted her support at the soccer star.
