Mumbai: The ‘Gunday’ teaser is finally out. The film produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF) and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar stars Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles.
Set in the backdrop of Bengal of the 1970s, ‘Gunday’ comes across as an action thriller. The teaser sans Priyanka shows Ranveer and Arjun pull off some stunning action sequences.
The teaser tells us that the two main protagonists - Vikram and Bala - are orphans. They are thick friends and have lived their lives on their own terms by indulging in all kinds of illegal activities.
However, they are powerful, most loved and celebrated boys.
‘Gunday’ happens to be the third film of the two lead actors under the YRF banner. Ranveer was introduced by the banner in ‘Band Baajaa Baaraat’, which went on to become a super-hit. His second- ‘Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl’ failed to impress the Box Office.
Arjun was launched in ‘Ishaqzaade’ that struck gold at the Box Office. His next, ‘Aurangzeb’ turned out to be a dud.
Here’s wishing the two boys all the very best for ‘Gunday’ as it happens to be the hat-trick film for them with the reputed film production company.
Here’s taking a look at the trailer:
