‘Housefull 2’ shall hit theatres soon after IPL 2012

Mumbai: Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Housefull’ was one of the biggest hits of 2010 according to the Box Office reports. The filmmakers are now planning a sequel ‘Housefull 2’ which they guarantee will be bigger, better and crazier than the previous one. The hilarious comedy that promises to have fans laughing out of their wits is being scheduled for a release after IPL 2012. As the IPL has been a lucky charm for the ‘Housefull’ producer Sajid Nadiadwala. Therefore, he has decided to release the sequel ‘Housefull 2’ right after the Indian Premier League 2012. The film is scheduled to release on the first Friday after the IPL finals next year. The cast and crew of the film are working hard to make the release of the film happen on the scheduled date. Says a source to a daily, "Housefull was associated with the ICC World Twenty20 so also were Nadiadwala`s previous films like Mujhse Shaadi Karoge and Heyy Babyy, keeping to tradition this time around Housefull 2 had its teaser promo out during the ICC World Cup season and the film is scheduled to see its release on the first Friday post the IPL 2012 and everyone on board is working hard to make sure that the film get released just after the IPL 2012." The comic flick ‘Housefull 2’ will be directed by Sajid Khan and it will star Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Riteish Deshmukh, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Asin, Zarine Khan, Shazahn Padamsee, Shreyas Talpade, Jacqueline Fernandez and Mithun Chakraborty.
