Shahid, Priyanka’s incomplete love story in ‘Teri Meri Kahani’

Mumbai: Kunal Kohli cannot hide his excitement for sure. The filmmaker tweeted the link of the trailer of his upcoming flick ‘Teri Meri Kahani’ that stars former lovers Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. Kunal tweeted, “Surprise! Here`s the official trailer of "Teri Meri Kahaani"(sic). The trailer is pretty fascinating that forces you to wonder if the two lovers would ever end up uniting. Kunal has given a unique treatment to his film by showing lovers of three different generations. The first one dates back to 1910, when India was under the British Raj. Shahid and Priyanka have a rustic look and are from the city of Sargoda, Lahore which is presently in Pakistan. Then the film fast forwards to the 1960 and shows Priyanka Chopra playing an actress. PC and Shahid’s attire reflect the retro era and the two look stunning together. It’s like seeing Rajesh Khanna romance Mumtaz once again on screen. And coming to 2012, we can see Sasha and PC in contemporary outfits and doing all the naughty stuff. The trailer ends with Priyanka Chopra saying that true love shall never culminate into the union of the lovers as, “Pyaar ka pehle akhsar adhoora hota hai.” So to find out if the duo end up getting together…we will have to watch the film. And this is exactly what Kunal wants us to do. The trailer looks promising; hope the film is equally good.
