`Masakali` girl Sonam Kapoor turns 29!

New Delhi: Bollywood`s fashion icon and one of the most talked about actresses of the present generation, Sonam Kapoor is celebrating her 29th birthday today. Sonam has mesmerised the audience with some power-packed performances since her debut in Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s `Saawariya` opposite Ranbir Kapoor in 2007.Though `Saawariya` did not do well at the box office but Sonam and Ranbir`s performance was noticed. Since then there is no looking back for the `Masakali` girl. Born to Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor, Sonam had a connection with the industry since her childhood. Before making her debut as an actress, the diva had assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali in his much acclaimed film `Black`. During her seven-year-long career, Sonam has worked in several films which include hits like- `Bhaag Milkha Bhaag`, `Dilli 6`, `Raanjhanaa` and `I Hate Love Stories`. Very soon, Sonam will be seen in the remake of Rekha starrer 1980 film `Khoobsurat`. On this special day we would like to wish the gorgeous actress a very `Happy Birthday`!
