New Delhi: Former beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who turned a number of heads at Cannes gala this year, was reportedly denied entry inside the India Pavilion at the festival last month.

The rumours about Ash and her `Jazbaa` team members being made to wait for over 20 minutes before they were allowed to enter into the India Pavillion on May 19, have been rubbished by a FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry) representative.

However, reports further suggest that no part of that story is true and Aishwarya's entry into the pavilion was smooth as it should have been.

The Bollywood beauty who is ready to make a comeback with `Jazbaa` was reported to have been stopped at India Pavillion as her car lacked a security clearance document.

India Pavilion is jointly run by FICCI and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Aishwarya has hogged the limelight for her her comeback film 'Jazbaa' after a long hiatus.

Helmed by Sanjay Gupta the first look of the movie has been received well by one and all.
