Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol bond over table tennis

Mumbai: Akshay Kumar and Bobby Deol, who are coming together on screen after a gap of several years in Anees Bazmi`s `Thank You` have been bonding big time over the game of table tennis while shooting in Canada for the film.

Sources said the movie`s male leads-- Akshay, Bobby and Irrfan Khan-- interestingly found common ground during the outdoor shooting to resist `temptations`. Interestingly, the theme of Bazmi`s movie was about temptations. A lot of young women would throng the sets in Canada and vie for their attention. But, the three actors, they said would concentrate only on their work. Akshay and Bobby were popular among the Punjabi crowd while Irrfan was a hit with foreigners. According to them, Akshay and Bobby went missing one night while shooting in Vancouver. But the crew found out that the stars were simply playing an interesting game of table tennis for many hours at a stretch which kept them busy till late night. Sources said the cast and crew of `Thank You` are gearing up for its release on April 8, the first one after the World Cup ends. Bazmi is confident that the film will tickle the funny bone of the audience. PTI
