Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been slammed by a man named Dr Jagbir Rathee for allegedly sharing his poem on social media by someone else's name.

New Delhi: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been slammed by a man named Dr Jagbir Rathee for allegedly sharing his poem on social media by someone else's name.

The MDU welfare youth director, Rathee has sent a legal notice to Big B demanding Rs 1 crore as compensation. Bachchan senior has been given a 15-day time to respond to the notice sent.

Rathee reportedly claims that one of his poems which he wrote in 2006 was shared by Big B's follower Vikas Dubey on the actor's Twitter handle. Later, Amitabh shared this poem on his Facebook and Twitter giving credit to the follower.

Rathee further added that he tried to contact the legendary actor for almost a  year through his Facebook and Twitter account, but all in vain. 
Following this, he had to take the step of sending a legal notice through his lawyer to Amitabh Bachchan.
