Amy was suffering from killer ‘Blake’ disease, claims 2nd dad

London: Sam Shaker, the man Amy Winehouse called her "second dad", has revealed that the late singer was suffering from a deadly disease called ‘Blake’.
His jazz club displays many portraits of Winehouse, but none of them shows her with her film director boyfriend Reg Traviss, rather there is one painting that shows her along with her former husband Blake Fielder-Civil. “Amy asked me to paint this picture after she had divorced Blake. I have two of these because she wanted to make changes from the first, like she wanted the white handbag in it,” the Sun quoted him as saying. “Amy was very particular about her paintings. She knew what she wanted and she wanted every detail of her tattoos. “She loved Blake. She adored him. He was the love of her life but he was the most disgusting person I’ve ever seen. “The girl was so talented. But do you really need to have a rotten relationship to write beautiful songs like Back To Black?” he said. Shaker slammed Blake with charges that he was the one who destroyed Winehouse’s life by introducing her to drugs. “He would stay with her one minute, then go with another girl. He was the one who introduced her to drugs. He’s a criminal. “He didn’t deserve a girl like Amy. It made me feel sick to paint his face. He didn’t deserve all the time I took to paint his picture. “This painting was always hidden away because Amy didn’t want her dad Mitch to see it. But now I have put it on display and I hope he will understand. “She was suffering from a disease - and the name of that disease was Blake. It’s a killer disease,” he added. ANI
