Angelina Jolie pilots prop plane from California airport

London: Angelina Jolie gave new meaning to the term ‘jet setter’ as she flew a small prop plane from Van Nuys airport in California on Friday.
The mother-of-six was pictured wearing her trademark aviator sunglasses as she concentrated intently to the task at hand, the Daily Mail reported. She was joined by a co-pilot and an unknown person in the back of the small aircraft. Jolie, 36, has been a frequent flyer for many years and even takes her children along with her for flights. Last September her eldest son Maddox accompanied her during a flying lesson in Surrey, England, and daughter Shiloh went along for the ride in a small aircraft in LA a few months prior. The ‘Salt’ star received her pilot’s licence seven years ago and said at the time that she was inspired by Maddox to get into flying. “Every time Mad sees a plane, he’s amazed. If I could actually fly a plane... I’ll be like Superman to him,” she said. Jolie and her partner Brad Pitt have also reportedly expressed an interest in being space travellers on Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic. ANI
