Being an actor is powerless: Zoe Saldana

New York: `Avatar` star Zoe Saldana says being an actor sometimes makes a person feel powerless. The 35-year-old actress has hit movies like `Center Stage`, `Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl` and `Avatar` to her credit, reportedly. "Sometimes being an actor is a very powerless position to be in, especially if you`re a woman, especially if you`re a woman of color," Saldana said. "(Acting) is basically stand there, look pretty, say your lines, go home. You`re not there from the moment someone says, `I have an idea,` and you fight for it and bleed for it," she added.
