New Delhi: Bollywood`s Bengali beauty Rani Mukerji, one of the leading actress of her generation turns 36 on 21st March, 2014.
She made her debut in Bollywood by starring in Ashok Gaikwad`s movie `Raja ki aayegi Barat`. She gained overnight popularity with `Ghulam` and stole our hearts as Tina in `Kuch Kuch Hota Hai`.
She marked her entry into Bollywood`s biggest production with Kunal Kohli`s `Mujhse Dosti Karoge`. Since then her career has seen hit after hit with various actors including Amitabh Bachchan. Saif Ali Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Govinda, John Abraham and with all the big banners in the industry.
She is also known for acting in women centric movies, the most famous of which is `No One Killed Jessica` and `Laaga Chunari Mein Daag`
Rani has also won several awards. `Black` whoch was helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali got her a lot of critical acclaim, and won her the Filmfare award for Best Actress. She has also won awards for `Veer Zara`, `Yuva`, `Saathiya` and `Bunty aur Babli`.
The latest rumours doing the rounds are that Rani is reportedly dating one of the top Bollywood`s high profile producer-director Aditya Chopra.
