Mumbai: There has been a lot of curiosity over Beti B. Ever since she was born, her family and parents Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan have refused many offers from various magazines, which wanted to buy the exclusive pictures of their first born.
The family has so far been able to keep the little one away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi, but rumours have it that Beti B might be making her debut on Oprah Winfrey’s show.
Buzz has it that the chat show host will be the one to introduce Beti B to the world in her new chat show ‘Next Chapter’. According to sources, Oprah who was in India in January, filmed an episode in India and is now gearing up to introduce the little one on the show.
The show will feature Abhi-Ash and it is not yet clear whether the couple will bring their daughter to the show or show pictures of the little one to the TV audience.
During her visit to India, Oprah visited the Bachchan home first on landing in the city. Apparently, after meeting Ash and her daughter, she said, “I’ll just call her Princess. She’s beautiful”. Amitabh tweeted later: “The gracious Oprah Winfrey visits our home, to meet us and bless the baby...warm hearted, endearing...drive her to the party in her honour. And Oprah in sari... looking lovely!!”
It is also being speculated that Oprah might also reveal the new born’s name to the world in the show. Aishwarya has earlier appeared on Oprah’s show twice. Once before marriage, and the second time with her husband Abhishek.
Speaking to DNA, a source said, “Oprah’s visit to India, was not only for shooting a short TV episode here, but also shooting for an entire series on India — featuring various interviews with personalities from Bollywood and the social circuit and it may be when apparently the Bachchans will introduce the baby to the world.”
We are now waiting for grandpa Amitabh Bachchan to confirm or deny the news.
