Bipasha Basu wasn’t sure about getting married to Karan Singh Grover – Here’s why

It was Karan Singh Grover’s genuine proposal that touched Bipasha Basu’s heart and made her believe she was destined to get married.

Mumbai: Bipasha Basu who is now happily married to Karan Singh Grover wasn’t pretty sure about entering wedlock with him because she never thought marriage would ever happen to her.

The Bengali beauty had apparently given up hope about getting married in life because of her previous failed relationships. Bips was previously in a long relationship with John Abraham (who is now married to Priya Runchal). Prior to that, she was dating model-actor Dino Morea. But her chemistry with John made heads turn because they were together for over nine years!

Post breakup with John, Bipasha is believed to have dated Harman Baweja. But it was Karan Singh Grover’s genuine proposal that touched her heart and made her believe she was destined to get married.

In an interview with Hi! Blitz magazine, Bips said, “The first thing I said was ‘I was not supposed to be married! Why do you want to marry me?’ That was my reaction to his proposal! I just didn’t even think I would get married..I guess I gave up hope.”

Bipasha and KSG officialised their relationship by becoming man and wife on April 30. Their Bengali styled wedding ceremony solemnised in the presence of family and close friends.
