Los Angeles: Hollywood`s `It` couple Brangelina believe that religion is very important in life and thus encourage their six children to gain knowledge about all the existing religions.
The `Original Sin` actress admits that their family library is full of religious books like `The Bible` and `The Qur`an`, Parade magazine reported.
Jolie, 35 and Pitt, 46 are strongly against steering their children to follow any particular religion rather they take their kids to different places of worship all over the world so that they can gain handsome amount of knowledge about each and every religion and then can choose their choice of religion.
"Brad and I are raising our children to respect everyone. We have a bookshelf in the house that has the Bible, the Torah, the Koran, everything. We will take our children to
church, temple, Buddhist ceremonies, Mosques, teaching them about all faiths. Whatever religion they choose, the choice will be theirs," Jolie said.
The couple have met various refugees who consider religion to be the only thing they don`t have and thus can acknowledge the value of religion in one`s life.
"I respect all religions. What I don`t respect is when people use religion to attack others. I`ve met people across the world, in the middle of nowhere, who are just trying to
survive and all they have is religion. In some way it helps them, and I wouldn`t take it away from them", Jolie said.
