Changing dirty nappies not fun: Ricky Martin

Singer Ricky Martin says he enjoys being a father to two-year-old twins Matteo and Valentino, but hates changing their nappies.

London: Singer Ricky Martin says he enjoys being a father to two-year-old twins Matteo and Valentino, but hates changing their nappies.
"I`ve always wanted to be a father. I knew it was something I wanted in my life. One day, I typed `surrogacy` into the computer and started researching. Now I have twin boys who are the loves of my life," he told Australia`s Daily Telegraph.
"Every decision I make is based on my children. They teach me different things every day, such as the beauty in simplicity. But I do hate changing dirty nappies; it`s not fun at all," he added. The 39-year-old gay singer says after becoming a father he has become more selfless, reports femalefirst.co.uk. "Being a father, you come to know yourself. You have no choice but to become less selfish as it`s not about you anymore. But you also have to feel good about yourself in order to set a good example. Fatherhood has made me work on myself," he said. Martin`s sons - Matteo and Valentino - were born via a surrogate mother in August 2008. IANS
