London: British popstar Cheryl Cole broke down in tears after Googling herself and reading negative comments ahead of her hoped for move to X Factor USA.
She was also snubbed this week by Jennifer Hudson, who mistook her for singer Sheryl Crow, and was described by an influential US blogger Nikki Finke, editor of Deadline Hollywood, as "a Brit singer convicted of assault".
It follows remarks made by rapper Example earlier this month, when he dismissed the idea of Cheryl being on the panel of the new US show, calling her a "no-one".
Meanwhile the singer is said to have split from long-term manager Hilary Shaw and enrolled rapper friend Will.i.am to crack the US market.
Her decision to part ways with Hilary Shaw comes after six years together, with her manager overseeing Cole`s transformation from girl band member to a successful solo singer.
