Dita Von Teese regularly dyes hair

London: Actress and burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese says she dyes her hair every two weeks as she is born blonde.

The 40-year-old is famed for her raven locks, but admits she`s actually a natural blonde. "I`m a natural blonde, but I prefer being dark. I dye my hair every two weeks - I do it myself. But I only wash my hair every two or three days, so my colour doesn`t fade," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Von Teese as saying. She also doesn`t like to leave the house without her trademark red lips. "I always wear a lip liner base before I slick on my lipstick, so it doesn`t slip off. You have to be wary of your lipstick when you wear red - you can`t really eat cheeseburgers and still keep it in place. Discipline is required," she added. IANS
