Gwyneth Paltrow hits Twitter and Facebook in bid to join 21st century!

New York: Gwyneth Paltrow has created both Twitter and Facebook accounts to join the social networking party.

Though her Twitter account has not been formally verified, the 38-year-old actress`` first tweet, a link to a self-made video, announced her virtual debut. “I``m trying to join the 21st century,” the New York Daily News quoted Paltrow as saying as she filmed herself treading the streets of Tribeca in New York City. “So it``s me. I``m on Facebook and Twitter, but not right now. I``m walking down the street looking for a cab,” she said. The brief video with a quick ‘see ya’, came to an end abruptly, but that was enough to prompt more than 25,000 people to follow her on Twitter. Nearly 50,000 have already "liked" her Facebook page, where she was reported to have posted the same clip and credited herself as an ‘actor/director’. ANI
