Do you know what's Dharmendra's real name? Well, he was born as born Dharam Singh Deol on December 8, 1935. The legend is basically from Nasrali, a small village in Ludhiana district, Punjab, to Kewal Kishan Singh Deol and Satwant Kaur. However, his ancestral village is Dangon, near Pakhowal, Ludhiana.
