Happy birthday Kalki Koechlin!

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Kalki Koechlin has often been critically acclaimed of her varied roles on screen. The girl of French descent who debuted in the industry with Anurag Kashyap's 'Dev D' turns 31 today.

Kalki changed the cliché of acting in the industry, by taking up some realistic and grounded roles unlike the regular romantic ones.

She has moved stories on her shoulder brilliantly which are unconventional and difficult, like 'The Girl In Yellow Boots'.

She won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for her unmarked performances for her debut. Kalki also featured in 'Shaitan', 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' and 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', among other films.

The young actress has been praised and considered one of the few actresses who have grown due to their talent and versatility.
