Here`s why Ranbir Kapoor skipped Deepika Padukone`s party!

New Delhi: After giving back-to-back three hit movies, Deepika Padukone threw a lavish party to celebrate her success. From Shah Rukh Khan to Aamir Khan, the bash was graced by many biggies of Bollywood. However, there are reports doing the round that Deepika`s alleged former boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor gave this party a miss. According to a tabloid, the 31-year-old actor, who is allegedly dating Katrina Kaif, is said to have deliberately missed Padukone`s bash held at a hotel in Worli. It is also reported that as Kaif was not invited for the celebrations, Kapoor decided to better stay at home rather than attending the party. “Ranbir was not shooting on Saturday. It is clear that he did not want to attend the event. Ranbir was in no mood as Katrina apparently was not on the guest list,” a source said. On the other hand, a source close to Kaif replied: “I don’t think she was invited. She was shooting for a brand on that day.” However, Kaif not being invited for the party seems to be just another sign of the growing rivalry between her and Padukone. Not to forget how the latter taunted at the issue - of Kaif and Ranbir`s Ibiza pictures getting leaked - saying that if one is a public figure one has to be prepared for such things and it is that person`s responsibility be more careful to prevent such incidents. Not only this, in the last season of `Koffee With Karan`, Padukone had stated that she would like to see Kaif`s passport; most people thought that Padukone was curious to know her exact age. Apparently, Kaif is not happy with Padukone`s controversial statements against her.
