New Delhi: This year saw many ups and downs involving B-Town celebrities. The most controversial episode being the legal battle between superstars Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut. The shocking revelations made by both the parties left their fans wondering as to what course of action will the case take.

It has however, now been reported that the much publicised case regarding the exchange of e-mails between the stars (which as per Hrithik was being sent by his imposter and not him) has been shut. According to BollywoodLife.com, the cyber police has found no hard evidence in the mails and therefore it has been closed.

BollywoodLife.com quotes Sanjay Saxena, joint commissioner of police, Crime Branch quoted as saying, “We have been unable to find anything on the mail ID as the server is located in the US. Now it is very difficult to ascertain who was using the account. Still, we will try to conclude [the case] from the available evidence.”

However, no official statement has been made so far. Hrithik and Kangana have previously worked in 'Krrish 3' together. 

After a lot of mud-slinging, finally the actors can be at peace!
