I am little paranoid about being a father: Jay-Z

Los Angeles: Rapper Jay-Z says having his father walk out on his family when he was 11-years -old made him a little paranoid about fatherhood.

The rap mogul`s wife Beyonce Knowles is currently expecting their first child together and while he can`t wait to be a dad, he says he can`t help but think about his own father, reported People magazine. "It makes me a little paranoid because no matter what, I don`t think any person, or any male, goes into a relationship thinking that they`re going to leave or wouldn`t be there. I think the circumstances a lot of times dictates things," he said. However, Jay-Z - whose real name is Shawn Carter, also said that he is different from his father and highly principled so thinks he will never act the same. "I`m just a different kind of guy. I`m a highly principled person. I come from a real place where you had to be a highly principled person so, I`m pretty confident that I`ll figure it out," he added. PTI
