I had second thoughts about marrying Hugh Hefner: Crystal Harris

Washington: Hugh Hefner’s ex-fiance Crystal Harris has revealed that she had decided to call off her wedding to the playboy founder because she had been having ‘second thoughts’ for some time and she thought it ‘wasn``t fair to him’ to go through with it.

The 25-year-old blonde beauty and the 85-year-old mogul cancelled their nuptials on Tuesday just days before the ceremony was due to take place on Saturday. The model said she had been wracked with doubts about the marriage before the decision was made. “I called it off because I didn``t think it was the right thing for me to do ... For a while I``ve been having second thoughts about everything,” Contact music quoted her as saying on KIIS FM radio show on Wednesday morning. “I haven`t really been at peace with myself lately. I didn`t think it was really fair to him,” she said. One thing that added to her anxieties was that the wedding was going to be filmed by US TV network Lifetime for a special programme on their big day. “They were gonna air a show on it. It was all happening too fast for me. I just thought about it and thought, ‘was this what I wanted?’” she said. But Harris is adamant the decision to cancel the nuptials was made jointly by her and Hefner and there was no fight, as had been reported, they just “talked about it”. ANI
