London: Nicole Kidman says that if she had the chance to live her life once again she would be a director.
The `Australia` star insisted that though she is "very thrilled" to be an actress, but her first preference was always to be a filmmaker, Contactmusic reported.
"I`d choose to be a director. I think to be a director you have to have a camera in your hand and you`ve got to be looking at the world in a particular way. I didn`t have that upbringing," said the 43-year-old actress.
Known as one of the Hollywood`s top actress, Kidman received Oscar for her performance as Virginia Wolf in `The Hours` and has films like ` Moulin Rouge,` `Cold Mountain`, `Australia` to her credit.
